Thursday, January 30th, 6pm - Meeting with Ken Mika from Geosyntec (Room TBD) - Come hear a presentation from Ken about environmental dredging and other soil topics! Also, Ken is heavily involved in national ASCE, so it's also a chance to learn more about the national organization. As always, food will be provided.
Monday, February 3rd, 7pm, ME 1153 - Info Session with Kimley Horn - Kimley Horn will be at the career fair that week, so this is a great chance to network/learn about them outside of the career fair. They will be providing food of some sort as well. They are involved in many areas of civil engineering, so don't miss this!
Saturday, February 8th, 8am to noon - Mathcounts - Come volunteer by correcting grade school math papers that are a part of a competition. I hear it's a blast and a good way to hang out with some fellow ASCE members! Thanks to those of you who have expressed interest in going from the last meeting.
